   Our Purpose and Description:

To identify those responsible for the death of PFC. Barry Winchell, 21 (31 August 1977 to 6 July 1999), US Army, of Grandview, Missouri; and the reasons for his murder.

To compare the life, military service, and death of PFC. Winchell with that of RSMN Allen R. Schindler, 22 (13 December 1969 to 27-28 October 1992), US Navy, of Chicago, Illinois. Both cases benefit from side-by-side comparison.

Things in government are seldom what they seem. The presence and participation of two US soldiers, Justin R. Fisher and Calvin R. Glover, imply a conspiracy to murder PFC. Winchell. So, the important questions are (1) how far did this conspiracy extend; (2) where did it originate; and (3) the reasons for it--that is, the reasons for killing PFC. Winchell, for desiring his death.

The club is a well-known instrument and symbol of martyrdom. Its use on PFC. Winchell signaled his martyrdom. So, a fourth question might be, "A martyr to what?"

The Winchell murder was "solved" by convicting and imprisoning for life a single soldier, Pvt. Calvin N. Glover, US Army (E-2), of Sulphur, Oklahoma. The "Stipulations of Fact" [agreed statement] in Pvt. Glover's case conceals the origin and ownership of the murder weapon, a baseball bat. Why is that? Instead, "the bat" appears out of nowhere, as if by magic!

Does not the Army play the people of Missouri, and indeed the entire country, for fools? And was not the Army encouraged in this by the Navy's treatment of Terry Helvey some years earlier? Winchell's murder cries out for competent, independent investigation.
